it was the legends of Drizzt that did it for me, back when I was about 11. I snuck and read it one time while my sis was away....I quickly read almost everything WOTC/FR was putting out.......Best damn thing that ever happened to me. It was also what started me drawing. _________________ As Her Royal Drowness Commands.....

Yeah I said old, because most people ask "what is TSR?" when I mention it. I was in highschool when I started reading.
At least half of my collection says TSR on it. Including some of the other universes besides Forgotten Realms. |
I still cocider the loss of TSR to WOTC to be a the biggest blow to Gaming ever. Some people complian about hasbro but i think the end started with Wizards buying TSR. _________________ Daimyo Shi

Hmm, I really didn't think much of the drow until I made one as a character on Neverwinter Nights 2, only like a year ago or so. I took a screenshot and used her as a referance for a drawing and got really interested in the story of drow that leave the Underdark (Not that its a bad place or anything, but it feels bit confining in the vast world of FR).
I mean, its a rare charecter type that has a lot of shock factor and nostalgia. Though overall, Im more of a creature-character fan (Lizard-man werewolves for the win! Haha, long story) in D&D, its always fun to have a drow along
Plus Ive read pretty much all the Drizzt books since my little bro snags every single one the day it comes out and pounds it down by the next ha

rather Ironicly I never has a chance to play a Drow in any game, as someone who Dm much more than he played it never happened and what I did play in was custom world with no Drow. All of my Drow Chracters were/are NPC or story Chracters. _________________ Daimyo Shi
