how does everyone feel about the Forgotten Realms and DDP team up to turn Salvatore's stories, books, and new tales into comic books?

Have you been collecting them since last year? Are you holding out until December for the hard cover combined collectors issue?

Do you like the art?

Actually I didnt know there was any. New ones that is.
I used to collect some of the old DC DnD ones- but I ended up only sticking to the Forgotten Realms series. They were well drawn, amusing & the Elf Cleric was a nut. the spelljammer series was weak, the krynn art was bad (Plus it being krynn it cant help BUT suck) The ad&d series was so so- but they tried to put too much deep mystical significance into it. And they added dorky centaurs. didnt work well. But Drow did pop up now & then- usually in skimpy clothes with bad 80s poofy hair as the token whip toting villainess all the lumpy orc minions cringed before. So um, yeah. Go out & find the old "Forgotten Realms" because they're just plain fun.

I found them interesting but many points in tehm were drawn in a rushed way kind of like they were tired and wanted to draw something else. Also I did not like how everyone looks like a body builder. Another thing I noticed instantly was that they drew Briza as pretty and slim....Briza is supposed to be pudgy and unnattractive.
But that was all from just glancing through it at the book store. Smile
