here it goes...
can i get a web banner (468x60) to add to my site to link to the main drowclub.com(<~~still amazed that name was avail)... some other standard web banner sizes that way for those of us who have our own sites can link to here and get more traffic and possibly more members to the club....

second is bout the forums...
using freeforums.org do they allow you to get backups of the sql tables if they are needed... asking b/c if your hostin server has mysql, add a phpbb forum to the main site and have everything hosted at one place... also this way you can really fully customized the forums on mods/hacks and they way ur styles look... not sure how much custimization freeforums give you though...

one thing that i think would look cool is on the main site is all the text links on the left if possible change those the image links... pretty sure someone in the club can come up with some badass text graphics... it would be a little easier on the eyes when finding things...

ok i think im done with some thoughts...lol... let ya know if more come to mind... Smile

Well, there are some phpbb forum mods that allow chatrooms. I think it depends on what the forum format is for them to be compatible.

SpiritSilver and QueenFlameWing - Yes I can make you a banner. but untill I finish it you can use the club stamp if you want (found at Lolth-Scourge's front page and in Paledrow's scraps). Will only take a day to make you a banner.

-as for forums on MySQL it is possible in theory but since these forums are new, they don't allow it yet. I chose these forums not only because they were free, but they are also free from any advertisements.

- As for the site link buttons, I have planned to make them graphical. Allot of stuff on the site is just "placeholder" stuff as I add content. There is allot we want to put on the site, but first priority was to get it at least functional, then add and modify from there.
I am glad you mentioned it though, I was becoming complacent on getting that modified. So now that you lit a fire under me, I will get on that right away. Very Happy

I was pondering a chat room, but I am not sure how much it would be used so I was going to wait till more people voiced a desire for it.

Lastly, I was suprised drowclub.com was not taken either. Actually at first it was reserved, then whoever reserved it let it expire without using it so I snatched it up and bought it out for a year (which I will being upgrading to several years soon). I also found a few more that were not taken also that I almost took. At first someone had taken Paledrow.com and then let that go too..then I snatched that. I was one day shy of grabbing www.lolth.com also Sad

Someone bought it 2 hours before me and reserved it for many years. I also own DrowArt.com

The saddest fact: Whoever is buying up stagnant domains such as drow.com and drow.net is an advertising company that has no interest in drow. They only see that domain as having many hits so they buy it and advertise products on it having nothing to do with drow. Sad

Please keep the input coming. The more you input, ythe more you make this a drow community effort. This is your club, make it so!
