My name is Darnzii Kla'rlck. I am a female dark elf. That would often bring a tremor to most whom might read it, and normally I would advice such nervous anxieties. Drowesses are not known for anything if not their cruelty. But, I would bid anyone to read closer into my words. I am no drowess, not in the usual sort at least. I am a dark elf. To me, there is a large difference. It is as plain as good and evil. And yes, I realize those are opinions to be argued about depending on your beliefs. And that is why I think it is the best example to use.

Dark elves are those born with black skin and light hair. We were all dark elves once, all the drow. But the true drow, now they are a race born of evil. It flows in their hearts as naturally as does blood. After all, the race of drow were created through the mating of Lolth--curse the Spider Bitch's name--and an evil wizard male illithyri long, long ages ago. We are lucky that some of us are still born with eyes less glazed to the ridiculous preachings of our matrons. We are lucky some dark elves still exist.

I am among them. And that is why I am on the surface...far in the middle of nowhere dissuading human barbarian tribes from worshipping the ground I walk on instead of sneering in malicious glee that I am held on high...

~Darnzii Kla'rlck

The drowess sighed heavily as she yawned and stretched in a languid manner. Her joints whispered their protests for her extensions of them. Darnzii shook her head vigorously and opened her crimson gaze.

The tent-hut was dark as usual. But that was no problem for the female dark elf. Her keen eyes pierced the shadows keenly. She picked up her clothing and slowly stood with sinuous--if not slow--grace. Darnzii tugged on her garments and strung her scrimshaw holy symbol lightly about her neck. Her thin, ebony fingers slid over the contours of the cresent moon and a small grin came to her lips.

Noises sounded from outside in the camp. Others stirred though it was still in the dawn hours. The wind bit hard and friggid in its wintery assault. That was the way of it here so far into the northern scapes. Darnzii wrapped a huge fur about her shoulders as she stepped out to squint at the far east where the sky was just then twinkling with pastel colors.

OOC: ok...not the best, but hey...figured I'd post up something for the heck of it? ^^;
